Depending upon the complexity of the job, a PDA typically requires one to three days to complete. A PDA is job specific. The industry standard is for this analysis to be completed by one of the following certified professionals: a kinesiologist, ergonomist, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist.
- The evaluation itself must be performed reliably and consistently by a certified professional.
- Conclusions of the functional fitness evaluation testing must be concise, clear, and actionable. Process and policy should be built to return workers to work safely.
