When You Need Drug and Alcohol Testing Now
If an incident occurs in the workplace or involves an accident with a motor vehicle, drug and alcohol testing needs to be done as quickly as possible in order to best determine if substance abuse was a contributing factor. Employers need to administer alcohol testing within 2 hours and no longer than 8 hours after the incident. Drug testing needs to be administered within 32 hours post-accident to ensure test results are viable.
Because there is no way to know when a health and safety incident will happen, our highly-trained staff are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week every day of the year to provide occupational health testing services. Our testers are available to respond anytime and anywhere.
We’ll help you determine what services including drug and alcohol testing needs to be completed and get the tests completed as quickly as possible. Then, we’ll get the test results back to you quickly so they can be used in the post-incident investigation.
All testing performed by CannAmm is completely confidential and our testers adhere to the appropriate chain of custody processes. We operate collection sites in Alberta, northern British Columbia, and northern Ontario. In addition to these sites, there are multiple collection sites across the country within the CannAmm-trained collector network which are part of the largest collection network in Canada.
We are also accountable for our results, and we will provide full support when non-negative results occur or if your company faces a challenge related to a test result. We adhere to gold-standard testing standards and policy frameworks to ensure your testing program is legally defensible, in both union and non-union work settings.
