Our urine drug test services give you accurate results that you can rely on. Because a urine drug test done in the laboratory is more accurate than other types of urine testing, we recommend laboratory-based urine drug testing as the most reliable solution if you can wait for the urine drug test result. Our laboratory-based urine tests give you the most legally defensible type of results, recognized by the Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA) Canadian Model and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) as the leading practice within the testing industry. We offer two types of urine drug tests:
A 5-panel drug test is the gold standard in drug testing technologies. Done properly, 5-panel testing gives you highly defensible results. It can detect marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and methamphetamines/amphetamines in urine, saliva, or blood.
At CannAmm, we use urine and oral fluid samples for 5-panel testing. Our experienced technicians follow strict procedures in order to generate results that are accurate and legally defensible.
Drug and alcohol testing identifies employees who may pose a safety risk, reduces liability, increases productivity, satisfies regulations and best practices, and helps individuals with substance use disorders.
With state-of-the-art testing technology, regulation experts, and 24-hour access to results and customer support, we ensure adherence to all U.S. DOT regulations. Our complete U.S. DOT drug testing service package includes policy development, required training, drug and alcohol testing, and random pool management.
Some companies may choose to opt-in for an extended-panel drug test, which can detect additional substances such as cannabis, cocaine, opiates, PCP, methamphetamines and amphetamines, MDMA, oxycodone, propoxyphene, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, and methadone. This method of drug testing provides additional screening for safety risks associated with medical (prescription) drugs.
Like the 5-panel drug test, CannAmm uses urine and oral fluid samples for extended panel testing. Our experienced technicians follow strict procedures in order to generate results that are accurate and legally defensible.
Some companies may opt for the extended-panel drug test, which can detect additional substances.
Express testing or point-of-collection testing (POCT) get you results quickly. The POCT test results meet the same cutoff levels as laboratory results but are not recognized by the Canadian Model or the U.S. DOT. Instant urine drug test technologies like those used in POCT testing are not 100% accurate because the results are visually read and subject to the collector’s interpretation. Laboratory confirmation is required for all non-negative POCT tests to ensure accuracy and legal defensibility.
An express drug test is ideal when you need results instantly; but if you have time to wait, laboratory testing is more accurate than POCT. Our experienced professionals can provide laboratory urine drug tests that meet U.S. DOT and the Canadian Model standards in industry-leading turnaround time.
