On 6 November 2003 the decision resulting from the hearing between Salvatore Milazzo and Autocar Connaisseur Inc. was handed out. The Tribunal found that random and pre-employment testing was necessary for among other things, the safety of the public and clients. Supervisor fined $10,000 for employee's death

Edmonton... Peter Hammett has been fined $10,000, plus a 15 per cent victim fine surcharge, by a provincial judge in Edmonton after pleading guilty to one charge under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The charge was for failing to take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of other workers under his supervision. Click here for more
